This Privacy Policy explains how The Avengers League ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, retains, and allows you to delete personal information through our website (https://avengersallstars.com) and our Android mobile application ("the App"). It applies to anyone who registers as a member, uses the App, or otherwise submits information through either.

1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect

When you register and use your account (via the website or the App), we collect:

  • Identity & contact information: full name, email address, mobile number, date of birth, gender, blood group, Instagram ID, address.
  • Professional information: firm/organization name, profession, academic qualification — collected because registrations are organized around professional communities (e.g. architects, designers).
  • Profile photo: if you choose to upload one.
  • Emergency contact information: the name and phone number of a person you nominate — this is that person's personal information, provided by you for safety purposes during tournament play.
  • Cricket/registration information: league and team selections, playing style, batting/bowling preferences, jersey number and name, apparel sizes.
  • Payment screenshot: if your registration requires payment confirmation, an image of your payment receipt.
  • Authentication information: your password (stored only as an irreversible cryptographic hash, never in plain text) and a secure session/API token used to keep you signed in.

We do not collect your device's location, your contacts list, or any biometric data. We do not use any advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or crash-reporting SDK in the App — verified directly against the App's actual dependencies, not assumed.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your member account and registrations.
  • To organize leagues, teams, and match-day operations (including displaying your name/photo publicly on our Professionals page only if you are assigned a Captain or Icon role and choose to add that information yourself).
  • To contact you by email and/or WhatsApp about your registration, approval status, and league updates.
  • To verify payment for paid leagues.
  • To maintain the security of your account (login activity, fraud prevention).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. How Your Information Is Transmitted & Stored

  • All communication between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit over HTTPS.
  • Your authentication token is stored on your device using the operating system's secure, encrypted storage (Android Keystore-backed encryption), never in plain text.
  • Profile photos and payment screenshots are stored privately on our servers and are never publicly accessible without authentication.

5. Data Retention

While your account is active, we retain your information for as long as reasonably needed to operate your membership and the leagues you're part of.

When you delete your account (see Section 7), we:

  • Permanently remove your name, email, phone number, date of birth, blood group, gender, Instagram ID, address, firm/organization, profession, academic qualification, profile photo, and emergency contact information.
  • Permanently delete your profile photo and any payment screenshot files from our servers.
  • Make your account permanently unusable for login, on both the website and the App, and revoke every active login session/token immediately.

We retain a limited amount of information even after deletion, for the following disclosed, legitimate reasons:

  • Tournament and team records: the structural fact of which league/team you were registered to or captained, and your match-day details (jersey number, playing role), are retained under an anonymized identity so that team rosters, match history, and tournament records are not corrupted for other members. Your name is replaced with "Deleted Member" in these records.
  • Communication logs: records that an email or WhatsApp notification was sent regarding your account (the event type, status, and date) are retained for dispute handling and audit purposes — but the message content and your contact details are removed from these records.
  • Security/login logs: technical login activity (IP address, device/browser type, timestamp) is retained for fraud prevention and security purposes. We treat this as personal information even though it is not displayed alongside your name — we do not currently delete or expire these records on a fixed schedule.
  • Internal administrative records: our platform administrators maintain internal accountability logs (for example, a record that a registration was approved, rejected, or that portal access was restricted, including an administrator's written reason). These internal records may still reference your name in historical entries and are visible only to authorized administrators — they are not publicly visible and are not used for any purpose other than internal record-keeping and dispute resolution.

6. Your Rights

You may access and correct most of your information at any time by signing in (website or App) and editing your profile/registration. You may request a copy of your information, or ask us a question about this policy, using the contact details in Section 1.

7. Deleting Your Account

You can permanently delete your account in either of these ways:

  • In the App: open the account menu and choose "Delete Account." You'll be asked to confirm your password and explicitly confirm the deletion before it happens.
  • From any device, without the App: visit https://avengersallstars.com/delete-account, enter your registered email address, and follow the time-limited confirmation link we email you.

Deletion is immediate and permanent once confirmed — see Section 5 for exactly what is removed and what limited information is retained and why.

8. Children's Privacy

The App and our leagues are intended for working professionals and adults registering for cricket tournaments. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the website or App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
